Hi All!

:) I`m super happy with my new companion. He´s a lot like me and we get along really well. He helps me clean the house, and we go running together, and we eat breakfast together. His name is Elder Dantas, and he´s from a state nearby in the north of Brazil. He´s been on the mission for 3 months now and this is his second area.

When I got back from Mossoró this week, the my area in Assu was a mess. The house was stinky, because we hadn´t taken out the trash, and all the food in the fridge went bad. There was garbage everywhere. Elder Dantas and I went to work immediatly. We cleaned the whole house, and took a huge box of garbage out to the street. There were a lot of things broken in the bathroom, like the shower and the toilet, so we bought some parts and fixed everything there. Now we have 2 working showers and a toilet that flushes. now the only problems are that one bathroom doesn´t have a door, and one of the toilets is still broken, but that toilet is beyond repair, so I´m not going to worry about it.

We don´t have many investigators anymore, so we´re basically opening the area again. In the last 4 days, we taught 26 lessons, and found over 20 new investigators, but none of this investigators went to church on Sunday. We´ll have to go back and visit all these people next week to see who will progress.

With my new comp, I´m really feeling a lot better now. Running in the mornings is helping a lot too. It´s a stress reliever. I´m sleeping great at night, and I´m pretty optimistic about the area. We´re just going to have to work a lot to get a strong teaching pool. I´m hoping we find some people to baptize this transfer.

I love you guys a lot! I can´t believe that in just 39 days I´ll be back with you guys. keep choosing the right. The church is true. I´m certain of that, because I´ve already seen the blessings that the gosple has brought into my life. Have a great week, and I´ll try to send some photos next week. Elder Dantas has a good camera that we can use.

Love you all!
Love, Elder Forsyth
