12/20/2010

I´m getting excited to call on Christmas. Amber said she will call at 11am. I´m guessing that is your time, because 11 for us is 7 for you. So I will call you at 11am your time, or a little earlier, to give you a number to call, and then you will have to call that number to talk to me. I don´t know what number you guys want to use to call me, but it needs to be one with long distance. I think I´ll call dads house to give you the number, and if his house is busy I´ll call Mom Tammy´s cell. I really don´t know how to plan this out much better, so I hope it all goes well. Is everyone just going to be at dad's house? I hope so. I´m so excited! It´s almost been 6 months since I´ve talked to you guys! Does it feel like that long for you?

Not much else happened this week. We had a stake conference, but it was really a district conference because we´re not big enough to be a stake yet. I got to play the organ for 500 people. It was kind of neat. I´m starting to like playing the organ. It´s a lot different than the piano because you don´t have a sustain pedal, but at times its easier than the piano.

We´re going to have a Christmas conference tomorrow. I´m excited. I borrowed a guitar from a member, and I think i might play something at the conference. I´ll let you know how it goes.

Start thinking of questions you want to ask me when you get to call. If I can talk to Amber that would be cool, but I only have 40 minutes to talk to you guys, so we need to be careful not to waste all the time trying to make conferences and stuff. If I don´t get the chance to talk to Amber, it will just be 5 more months until I can for sure talk to her on Mother's Day. Time is going by so fast here; 5 months is going to feel like nothing.

I love you guys a lot, and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas. I wish I could send you all presents, but I think you´ll all just have to wait another year and a half to receive your gifts.

Choose The Right, and always try to stay happy!

Love, Elder Jacob Forsyth
